Bhavya Sri as the lead, Peddarasu Subramanyam is producing a historical film ‘Sathee Thimmamamba’ on SSS Art Creations banner. S Raj Kumar, who came to fame with ‘Tinnama Padukunnama Tellarinda’, is directing this film. 60% shooting has been completed and presently next schedule is going on steadily. Producer Subramanyam, who is the clan of Thimmamamba, has briefed the progress of this film.
“Thimmamma remained in the hearts of Telugu people for her great dead. A banyan tree has taken life from the place where she sacrificed her life and this which has 600 years history has become the world’s largest tree which stretched more than 7.5 acres and won the place in gunnies book of world record. People offer prayers to this Thimmamma marri chettu (banyan tree) which is located at Gootibayalu Village in Ananthapur district. And they believe that she is still alive in the form of banyan tree. They named it as Thimmamma/Thimmamamba Marri Chettu. I’m proud to bring this historic story to the present audience. I’m making this film not to make profit but to bring this legendry story to the present generation. Meanwhile, the film has completed 60% shooting and presently next schedule is in progress. The shoot of the next schedule will take place at Golconda Fort, Talakona and Ananthapuram,” informs Producer Subramanyam.
Ranganath, Chandra Mohan, Suman, Prabhakar, Suman Shetty, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Jr. Relangi, Chitti Babu, Aakella, Rajendra, Bombay Padma and Rajasri are playing important roles in the film.
