After scoring success with the film ‘Geetanjali’, heroine Anjali is playing the lead role in a lady oriented film. Gangapatnam Sridhar is producing the film on Sri Vighnesh Karthik Cinema banner with ‘Pilla Jamindar’ fame Ashok as director. Meanwhile, the makers have confirmed ‘Chitrangada’ title for the film. 60% shooting of the film has been completed and on this occasion, producer briefed about the film details saying, “After the super success of ‘Geetanjali’, offers poured in for Anjali. But, she didn’t accepted for any film. After listening to our story, she immediately given green signal to act in this. The film is being made as a thriller comedy film with interesting elements and distinct concept in the lines of ‘Geetanjali’. The film will have some different elements which audience will never expect. It was extensively shot in America as per the story requirement. We are planning to film the balance songs in Europe and Kerala. We will bring the film to the audience for this summer. I’m sure the film will stand out as a milestone in Anjali’s career.”
Anjali, Sapthagiri and Swathi Deekshith are playing key roles in the film.
