Shanmukha Arts banner is producing a historical film in Telugu and Kannada languages with Sai Kumar as the lead and Smt. Suseela as presenter. Nandi Kameswara Reddy is directing this film. We have learned a lot about the great warriors and freedom fighters from the history. Some fought for races, some for the society and some for freedom. Few warriors stood as legendry great warriors in the history and few are restricted to books and the stories of few warriors became films. In the same way the story of the legendry great warrior Machideva, who worked as a supreme commander at Rani Rudramadevi in 12th century, is being made as a film. He fought against caste malpractice and raised public awareness of the issue till his last breath and sacrificed his life in the battle.
Briefing about the film details, director and producers said, “We have researched on the script for one year and made the film with gripping screenplay that can be easily understand by the present generation. Sai Kumar has perfectly suited the great warrior’s role. He is giving life to that role. We feel that Sai Kumar did perfect justice to his role. Shooting is going on without any break and obstacles till date. Sai Kumar’s support is unforgettable. We have canned the film at Srirangapatnam in Bangalore and at some beautiful locations in Mysore. The final schedule will takes place in Hyderabad.”
“The film is very special to me than all my films which I’ve done so far. I’m very happy to play the role of the great warrior Machideva. I’m extremely confident that the film will earn good name to me,” said Sai Kumar.
Sai Kumar, Charulatha, Suman, Ramya Krishna, Satya Prakash, Suchitra and Thriller Manju and some others are part of the cast.
