‘Ranam 2’ has completed all formalities including censor and is ready for release on May 15. Dance Master Amma Rajasekhar, who has given super hit to Gopichand with the film ‘Ranam’, has played the lead and also directed the film ‘Ranam 2’ after taking some gap. The film is being produced by Gopanaboina Srinivasa Yadav under Sri Venkateswara Movies Entertainments banner with Victory Infra Project as presenter. The film starring Amma Rajasekhar, Aarti Agarwal and Nidhi in the lead roles, has all ingredients with equal measures which a good film needs. Amma Rajasekhar is very confident that the film will bring back his good name and fame. This is one of the last films of the late Srihari. Director and producers are saying that Srihari’s role in the film will stand out forever in the hearts of Telugu audience.
At the press meet, Amma Rajasekhar said, “I’m waiting for this project since 3 years and finally ‘Ranam 2’ has completed all formalities including censor and received ‘U/A’ certificate. We are planning to release the film on May 15. Srihari garu has played a key role in the film. Mani Sharma garu has provided wonderful tunes and his music has got good response. The film can be watched by the whole family together. We hope audience will encourage us by making the film a big hit.”
“We are working on this project since 3 years and we came across many obstacles. Entire unit members have kept their heart and soul for the good outcome of the film. Srihari’s death is the major loss for us and the film industry. Srihari liked his role very much and he said that he will definitely get an award. ’Ranam 2’ has completed the censor formality and received ‘U/A’ certificate from the censor board members. After watching the film, Pasupaleti Kannamamba has decided to release the film in all areas like Nizam, Seeded and Andhra. We have decided to release the film on May 15. The film will have all commercial elements which the audience will look for and I hope the film will impress everyone,” said the producer Srinivas.
“I played a gay role in the film. I’ve some comedy scenes and emotional scenes. I’m thankful to the director and producers for having given me this opportunity,” said Nalla Venu.
Amma Rajasekhar, Nidhi, Aarti Agarwal, Sri, Prithvi, Supreeth, Nalla Venu, Fish Venkat, Tarjan Sravan and master Vishnu and some others are playing important roles.
