Marking the occasion of Tollywood’s young hero Ram Charan’s 31st birthday on March 27, fans conducted a mega blood donation drive this time. All India Chiranjeevi Yuvatha and Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Bank have jointly organised this mega event worldwide at the countries like Dubai and America along with Telugu states and Karnataka. 76,000 units of blood collected on a single day, which might turn into a world record. About 225 blood donation camps were organised on the day. On this occasion, Ram Charan and Chirenjeevi expressed extreme gratitude and felicitated the mega donors. Large number of fans from all over the world have attended the event which took place at Taj Krishna. Fans took the opportunity to share their experience of being part of a noble cause.
On this occasion, Ram Charan said, “My fans made my 31th birthday an unforgettable one by conducting a mega blood donation drive and making it a grand success.” “It’s really a great thing to conduct a mega event within a short span. My heartfelt thanks to the fans for making the event a grand success. My aim was to witness a time, where lack of blood was no longer a reason for one’s death. I’m very happy that my fans are working hard for making my dream true,” said Chiranjeevi. Mobile application named CBB (Chiranjeevi Blood Bank) which will arrange blood for the urgent needed people within half an hour, was also launched on the same stage. Gifts were presented to the mega fans major leaders and who organized blood donation camps.
