‘Mounam’ starring Murali Krishna, Bhanu Sri and Aishwarya as the lead roles, is in post-production works. Kishan Sagar is being introduced as director. Los Angeles Talkies and Sandhya Motion Pictures are jointly producing the film with Alluri Surya Prasad. MM Srilekha is providing the musical scores. To brief about the film’s details, thefilm unit has arranged press meet on January 23 in Hyerabad.
“So far I’m working as DOP. I’m thankful to the producers for giving me the opportunity as director through this ‘Mounam’. We felt the title is perfectly apt to the film. Silence plays vital role in horror films. It’s a different horror entertainer. The film depicts the difference between spirit and ghost. Currently post-production works are in progress. ‘Mounam’ is a scientific thriller,” said director Kishan Sagar.
Kanakala Subbarao said, “In the past, I did ‘Galipatam’ with Sampath Nandi garu. We are making plans to deliver at least one film a year from our banner. We have completed the film with 10% less budget than the estimated one.”
Speaking at the press meet, MM Srilekha said, “Presently, post-production works and re-recording works are in going on. Re-recording is very important for horror films. ‘Mounam’ came out wonderfully.”
