Sentiments play a big role in Tollywood. Brahmotsavam has performed badly and Mahesh Babu might be pondering as to what went to wrong with this film on which he has high hopes. Some fans say that the film flopped because it was released in May.
Two of Mahesh Babu’s films have been released in May apart from Brahmotsavam. Nani and Nijam are two of biggest flops in Mahesh’s career. Both these films came out in May.
Director Teja had directed Nijam which came to theatres on 23rd May 2003. This film bombed. On 14th May in 2004, S J Suryah directed Nani came to theatres and this film too bit dust. Now Brahmotsavam has met similar fate. So looks like May is not a good month for Mahesh Babu to release his films.
