Dr PM Sundara Rao is making a film titled ‘Mahatma Jyotirao Phule’ under his own direction on Chelimi Vision banner. The film is slated for November last week release. Meanwhile, the first look poster of the film was launched by the senior producer and director Tammareddy Bharadwaja on November 3.
Tammareddy Bharadwaja said, “A film based on the life of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule is being made for the first time. I wish everyone will encourage the film by making it a success.”
The film’s producer and director Dr PM Sundara Rao said, “Mahatma Jyotirao Phule is a social reformer, who eradicated inequalities and he is the pioneer of women’s education. I am very glad to make the film based on the life of such a great social reformer. 60 stage artists, who belongs to Telangana region were casted in this film. I am confident that the film will have audience encouragement and government support as well. After completing the censor formality, we will release the film by the last week of November.”
Editor T Ramesh expressed that he is very happy to be part of such a great film which is being made based on the life story of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule.
PM Sundara Rao, Bellamkonda Venkat, MS Charlie, Ainala Malleswara Rao, Sonu, Vital Prasad, Yohan, Military Prasad, Chiluvuru Nageswara Rao, Vijaya Lakshmi, Durga and Meenakshi and some others are part of the cast.
