Vijay Raghavendra and Haripriya as the main leads, ‘Ranatantra’, a romantic horror Kannada film written and directed by Aadhiram and produced by S Ramesh, was released this summer and became super-duper hit. Prominent producer cum distributer Venkatrao Martori is bring this film to Telugu audience as ‘Idi Pedda Saitan’ under Sri JV Productions banner with Smt. Latha Martori as presenter. All formalities including censor have been completed and the makers are planning to release the film on September 30. Karthik M has scored music.
Briefing about the film’s details, producer cum distributer Venkatrao Martori said, “The film ‘Ranatantra’ which was released in Kannada in 2016 summer, has become super-duper hit. The film which was made as love and action romantic horror entertainer has stood as big hit film in Vijay Raghavendra’s career. We are bringing this film to Telugu audience as ‘Idi Pedda Saitan’ on our banner. Hari Priya, who looks like a Telugu girl, has given wonderful performance. I am sure she will earn star heroine image through this film. Director Aadhiram’s taking is excellent. Horror genres are trending off late in Telugu and therefore I am extremely confident that this film will also become big success. If the content is good, Telugu audience will always encourage. Recently released ‘Bichagadu’ has proved the same thing by creating sensation. ‘Idi Pedda Saitan’ has good content. We are bringing ‘Mahabali’, ‘Goli Soda’ and ‘Idi Pedda Saitan’ on our Sri JV Productions banner. We are planning to start a straight Telugu film with huge star cast for this Dasara. All our distributers are giving lot of support to me. We are trying our best to bring very good films to Telugu audience with the support of our distributers. ‘Idi Pedda Saitan’ has completed the censor formality and we are planning to release the film on September 30.”
