Anchor Ravi and Meghana Lokesh starrer ‘Idi Maa Prema Katha’, which had an initial release date of December 8, will now be releasing on December 15. Anchor Ravi is being introduced as hero through this film. TV serial ‘Sesirekha Parinayam’ fame Meghana Lokesh is playing the female lead opposite Ravi. Young and talented Ayodhya Karthik is being introduced as director through this film. Matsya Creations and PLK Productions banners are jointly producing the film. The film has music by Karthik Kodakandla.
On the eve of film’s release, hero Ravi said, “I have been in the industry as an anchor since seven years. If I make an entry into the film industry as hero, I should not end up with just one film and that is why I decided to make my foray prestigiously. I took suggestions from many and took up this project. TV serial artist Meghana Lokesh has paired up with me as heroine. Director Ayodhya Karthik has carved out the film in such a way that it will connect to everyone. ‘Idi Maa Prema Katha’ will impress everyone for sure. My inspiration is Megastar Chiranjeevi, Superstar Rajinikanth and Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja. I am happy that my pilot project has good story line and wonderful director and producers. We have allotted nearly 6 months for pre-production work. The film has been carved out as a nice feel good love story. Though the first copy of the film was ready earlier, we were looked for a safe zone slot to release the film. Now the film is being released on December 15.”
Informing the news, director Ayodhya Karthik said, “The film came out quite natural. It will connect to everyone. I would like to thank three persons regarding this film. I hope ‘Idi Maa Prema Katha’ will entertain audience and earn good name to me as director.”
On this occasion, producer PLK Reddy said, “Initially I felt whether the director Ayodhya Karthik can handle the script or not. I asked him to shoot some portion and bring it to me. He has shown his mettle and utilized his opportunity. ‘Idi Maa Prema Katha’ came out wonderfully. Songs reached audience well. Thanks to music director Karthik and Dinesh. The film is coming to audience on December 15.”
