Plans are underway for producing a huge biopic with the crazy combination of hero Sandeep Kumar (Sandy) of ‘Vangaveeti’ fame, director Jeevan Reddy of ‘Dalam’ fame and cinematographer Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti of sensational hit Marathi film ‘Sairat’ which has collected 100 crores recently. The film will be made based on the real story of Osmania Student Leader George Reddy. The film which is going to be made with the crazy combination will go on sets shortly. Sandeep Kumar plays George Reddy role, while Jeevan Reddy directs him.
“The film depicts the student politics between the years 1962 and 1972, social, financial and political conditions in those years, about OU and the some real incidents that happened in the life of George Reddy. Pre-production works related to the film have been completed. We are planning to shoot the film in the areas like Hyderabad, Warangal, Kerala, Aurangabad, Mumbai and Pune. This periodic film will be made in different genre with huge budget in which prominent Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam actors will play major roles. Two popular production houses will bankroll this Telugu and Hindi bilingual film. Title along with first look will be released shortly,” informed director Jeevan Reddy.
