What makes you think that Brahmin’s are not stylish? I wrote this role after seeing a lot of small disturbances in the society.

That’s a secret. Watch the film to find that out. You will be surprised to see Allu Arjun in this avtaar. He has never been seen in such a role. Allu Arjun will look dashing. Also the Brahmin character will make all stunned. Bunny has really worked hard on this character.
DJ had its share of controversies...
Yes it’s true that a section of the Brahmin community was offended by the lyrics of a song. I made them understand the actual meaning. But I could not convince them and I respect their feelings. So we changed the lyrics.
Lot is spoken about the climax of the film...
It’s a unique climax. The ending will have elements of thrill and will be shown in a unique manner.
Your film seems to have striking similarities with Gentleman and Adhurs?
DJ is not even close to these films. Many films have Brahmin characters in them this does not mean that all films are similar.
DJ has had negative publicity as well...
Social media is a double edged sword. The reach is big and we get good publicity on one end and on the other end the film can be hit hard with just one tweet.
Your Future projects?
I have plans to direct a concept based film. I will be working with Dil Raju garu for this. This film will not have any violence or commercial elements in it.
Tell us your view about the Telugu film industry?
My experience is that, everyone here is after success. The more successful you are the more famous you will be. Relationships take a backseat here.
