The latest about Mahanati is that veteran actor Mohan Babu has been approached to play the role of SV Ranga Rao in Mahanati. There has been no confirmation from either of the parties regarding this.
Currently the film is being shot in Gandipet, Hyderabad. We will see
Keerthy Suresh playing the role of Savitri. Dulquer Salman will be seen as Gemini Ganeshan. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this film will be a period drama.
