Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma is controversy's favorite child in Tollywood. He tweets under the influence of alcohol and runs into trouble. He has been summoned by the Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on August 8. This is on connection with the tweets posted by him in 2014.
Way back in 2014 RGV tweeted, “The guy who couldn’t save his own head from being cut, how he will save others heads is my question? But Happy Ganpathi day to morons! Can someone tell me if today is the day Ganesha was originally born or is it the day his dad cut his head off?”
A person Vivek Shetty took the legal route saying that Ram Gopal Varma had insulted Lord Ganesha. He alleged that RGV has questioned the lord's ability to remove obstacle and also spoke derogatorily on Ganesha's appearance.
