Promising hero Sumanth, who received appreciations with his recently released ‘Malli Rava’, is coming up with the film ‘Subrahmanyapuram’. Beeram Sudhakar Reddy is producing the film under Sudhakar Inpex India Pvt Ltd. Santhosh Jagarlapudi is being introduced as director through this film. Eesha Rebba is the heroine. Regular shooting is presently going on in Hyderabad.
Updating the progress of the film, producer Beeram Sudhakar Reddy said, “This is Sumanth’s 25th film and it is being made most prestigious. It’s a mystery thriller blended with supernatural elements. The twists and turns at every stage will surely keep the audience on the edge of the seat. Some crucial scenes will be filmed on hero, heroine and on major cast from August 8 in Hyderabad. We have wrapped up 50% of the shoot till date. I am confident that Subrahmanyapuram will stand out as yet another different film in Sumanth’s career. We are making a wonderful song on lord Subrahmanya Swamy. We consider ourselves lucky that renowned lyricist Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao has penned the song, while legendary playback singer SP Balasubramanyam has lent his voice for the song. I am sure this song will stand out as highlight for the film.”
Director Santhosh Jagarlapudi said, “What if God, who grants boons to devotees, gets angry with devotees - makes the story of Subrahmanyapuram. Sumanth plays an atheist. You will see him as a person who does not believe in gods. I am confident that the film will impress all sects of audience.”
