Divyavaani is popularly known as Baapu Bomma for Telugu audience. Divyavaani debuted with Baapu's 'Pelli Pusthakam' followed by popular hits like 'Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam', 'Iddaru Pellala Muddula Police'. She has completed 50 films as lead actress. On this occasion Divyavaani said, "I am very lucky to get introduced with the blessings of great director Baapu gaaru as a 'Baapu Bomma'. Though I was introduced as a heroine with 'Pelli Pustakam', I already did two films as an actress. My first film was 'Sardar Krishnama Naidu' and my second film was 'Mithyamantha Muddu'. Then among twenty heroines I got the chance to act in 'Pelli Pustakam'. I did 50 films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi languages. Recently I was shifted to Hyderabad from Chennai for my daughter's studies. At the same time I was offered to act in serials 'Naa Peru Meenakshi', 'Pavitra Bandham'. Along with these serials currently I am doing a crucial role in a prestigious film. I will be seen as the mother of Keerthi Suresh who is doing the role of Savitri Garu in 'Mahanati'. Ashwini Dutt garu is producing this film in 'Vyjayanthi Movies' under Nag Ashwin's Direction. I am ready to act in Performance oriented, good roles in Telugu."
