The success of ‘Rudramadevi’, ‘Gauthami Putra Sathakarni’ and recently released ‘Mahanati’ have proved that biopics are magic formula and Tollywood is coming up with a bunch of damn interesting biopics ‘NTR’, ‘YSR’, ‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’ and ‘Pullela Gopichand’ and few more which are in various stages of production.
According to the latest reports, yet another biopic for us to look forward to may be that of legendary singer and composer Ghantasala - The one voice that rang through decades of Telugu cinema. The film will go on floors soon. Singer Krishna Chaitanya will play Ghantasala and his real-life wife Mrudula will play Ghantasala’s wife. Writer CH Rama Rao, who did enormous research on Ghantasala life, is directing this film. Lakshmi Neeraja is producing this project and Vasu Rao hasl provided musical scores.
