Karthi, who recently scored a hit with 'Khaidi', is currently acting in a movie titled 'Donga', which has his real life sister-in-law Jyothika playing his sister. The trailer of this movie, the Telugu dubbed version of 'Thambi', directed by Jeethu Joseph of 'Drishyam' fame, has been out and the response to the trailer has delighted the makers. The film will release on 20th December.
The makers say that brother-sister sentiment dialogues have got a good response and the viewers are enjoying the fun dialogues like the one where Karthi says he deserves to be in SS Rajamouli's film for his acting skills. The film is a blend of sentiment, comedy and action, they say.
Ravuri V Srinivas, who is presenting the film in Telugu on Harshitha movies banner, says, "The teaser and songs have received a very good response and now we have released the trailer. I thank KFC Entertainment for giving us complete rights to release the film in Telugu. We will release the film on 20th December".
Karthi, Jyothika, Nikila Vimal, Sathyaraj, Sowkar Janaki are among others who play important roles in this movie. Music is by Govind Vasantha of '96' fame.
