Director VV Vinayak has turned into a protagonist for the movie, 'Seenayya', which is set in the 80s. This movie is being produced by Dil Raju and Nnarasimha is the director. As per reports, timeless beauty Shriya Saran has been roped in as the female lead in this film.
Interestingly, VV Vinayak directed Shriya in movies like 'Chennakeshava Reddy' and 'Tagore'. Both are teaming up once again for this movie but as a hero and heroine. It is said that Shriya has been offered a strong role in 'Seenayya' and she has given her nod.
Apart from playing glamorous roles, Shriya has proved herself as a good performer over the years. Her performances in films like 'Manam', 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' etc were appreciated.
Shriya was last seen in Telugu in the movie, 'NTR: Kathanayakudu', where she made a special appearance in the song, 'Chithram Bhalare Vichitram'.
