Web series is being considered as the future of entertainment. Many actors have realized this and have forayed into digital space. The latest to join the list is Tamannaah Bhatia.
As per sources, Tamannaah is going to play the lead in a Tamil web series, produced by Vikatan group for Hotstar. Recently, Kajal Aggarwal, Sai Pallavi and Meena have also started acting in web series. Ramya Krishna is playing Jayalalithaa, in Gautam Menon's web series 'Queen'. Looks like web series fever has caught up with the South film industry.
Meanwhile, in Tollywood, directors like Nandini Reddy, Tharun Bhascker and Sankalp Reddy of 'Ghazi' fame have teamed up to direct 'Lust Stories' in Telugu. Eesha Rebba is acting in one of the parts and has started shooting for it recently.
