Atlee, one of the most sought after directors in South, is going to direct Shah Rukh Khan soon. Earlier there were reports that the 'Bigil' director will team up with NTR for a movie, produced by C Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi movies banner.
But looks like NTR - Atlee project will not happen in the near future as the actor is busy with 'RRR' currently. SRK has evinced interest to work with the young director, who has rose to fame with his debut film 'Raja Rani' and then went on to direct Tamil Superstar Vijay in 'Theri' ('Police' in Telugu) and 'Mersal' ('Adhirindhi). The hat-trick film from the combination, 'Bigil', is getting ready for a Diwali release.
Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan - Atlee movie will be the remake of one of the latter's movies. There are also reports that Atlee has been offered a remuneration of Rs.30 crores for this project.
