The success meet of 'Colour Photo' was held on Saturday in Hyderabad. The makers said that the film has been watched so far by seven lakh people on Aha.
Speaking on the occasion, writer-producer Sai Rajesh Neelam said that he got worried after reading a couple of negative reviews soon after the release of the film on October 23. "In the very first week, 7 lakh people have watched our movie. If each ticket is pegged at Rs 100, our movie has collected Rs 7 Cr in the first week itself. I thank Aha for providing the platform for our movie," he added.
Director Sandeep Raj said, "Without the team of 'Colour Photo', I wouldn't be here. I got to work with my favourite comedian and actor Sunil garu. I wanted to make Suhas a male lead and I have done that. The technicians and artists who have worked for 'Colour Photo' have proved themselves beyond doubt."
Chandini Chowdary said that the experience of working on the movie and the success are going to be unforgettable. "It has been my dream to score a blockbuster. 'Colour Photo' has fulfilled the dream," she added.
Suhas said, "We dreamt a lot for this movie. We wanted to score a hit come what may. And we did it. I thank the audience for accepting me as a lead actor. I thank my wife for always being supportive."
Sunil, who has played a comedian in the movie, said that he has received appreciation from a number of quarters for his performance in 'Colour Photo'. "It's because of the comic timing that I have survived in the film industry. With this movie, I have turned into a villain. People in the industry are telling me I have managed to show menace without killing anyone in the movie.
