Kiranmayi Indraganti, who has a number of documentaries and writings to her credit, is currently directing and producing 'Rallallo Neeru', starring Krishna Manjusha, Altaf, Shafi, Bindu Chandramouli, Dr. Prasad and others. The film is based on the Norwegian drama 'A Doll's House'.
"It was when I was pursuing MA English that I happened to watch the drama. I have since wanted to tell the story as a Telugu film. Like 'Kanyashulkam' in Telugu, 'A Doll's House' is considered a classic in English. This is a progressive piece of work," the director said. The film's situations and characters have been developed to suit the contemporary times. Shot in Kakinada, the film was completed in 28 days. "We are ready with the first copy. We recently screened the film at a film festival in Los Angeles," she added.
