'Idhe Maa Katha' is a road film starring Sumanth Ashwin, Srikanth, Bhumika Chawla and Tanya Hope in lead roles. Coming with the caption 'Riders' Story', the film is being directed by Guru Pawan. The film's First Look was released on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion of its release, producer G Mahesh said that the film tells everyone's story. "There is your story in it. There is my story in it. That's why I too am eagerly waiting for the film's release," he added.
The director said that the film's shooting was started before lockdown. "When lockdown was imposed, we were disappointed. However, once the situation started improving, we resumed the shoot and completed production works by taking all precautions. The actors have delivered superb performances. Sunil Kashyap's music is another asset. Since I myself am a rider, I wrote the story with riding as the backdrop," Guru Pawan said.
Sumanth Ashwin thanked the producer and director for ensuring the completion of the movie. "I love bike-riding. But I am not a professional rider. The director trained me in it. I am glad that I got to work with Bhumika garu and Srikanth garu," he added.
Srikanth said that he loves bike-riding and that he is glad that he got to work with a nice team. "The film's screenplay is distinct. Cinematographer C Ram Prasad and Jowahar Reddy's visuals will stand out. Sumanth is like my brother," he added.
The film also features Saptagiri, Prudhvi, Sameer, Ram Prasad, Josh Ravi, Trivikram Sai, Srikanth Iyyengar, Madhumani, Sandhya Janak and others.
