Sonu Sood has touched people from different fields across the country. The Telugu film industry is one of them. Three members working as managers in Tollywood have received help from the multi-lingual actor.
We learn that he is financing the heart surgeries of their little kids in Mumbai's SRCC Hospitals. MV Subbarao, a manager in Tollywood, recently tagged the 'Dookudu' actor and sought help, saying that his son is having a heart problem. "Doctors said that surgery should be done. I don't have money for surgery. Please help me, sir. Save my child. Please sir please (sic)," he wrote. Reacting to the appeal for help, Sonu said that the child would have a check-up on Wednesday and that his surgery will be completed on Thursday.
Sonu recently received the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) prestigious SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award for his services to migrant workers during the Summer lockdown.
