Akkineni Nagarjuna on Tuesday expressed his regret over the situation in Telangana owing to unprecedented rains. The host of Bigg Boss-4 said that he would be donating Rs 50 lakh towards relief and rebuilding measures.
"Heavy rains and floods have devastated the life of people in Hyderabad. Appreciate the efforts of Telangana Govt in releasing 550 crores for immediate relief. Standing by the cause, will contribute 50 lakhs to Telangana CM relief fund.#TelanganaCMO (sic)," the 'Manmadhudu-2' actor tweeted.
In the month of March, the senior actor donated Rs 1 Cr to Corona Crisis Charity for the welfare of cine workers affected by lockdown.
On the work front, he will be shooting for 'Wild Dog' in Manali soon.
