'Son Of India', starring Mohan Babu, was announced on August 15. Written (screenplay) by Mohan Babu, the patriotic movie is being directed by Diamond Ratnababu. Produced by Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and 24 Frames Factory, the film has gone on the floors on Friday after its formal launch at Mohan Babu’s residence in Hyderabad.
The pooja ceremony was graced by Viranica Manchu, Ayra, and Avram (they switched on the camera), while Vidya Nirvana Manchu, and Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna sounded the clapboard.
Talking about the film, the makers said that its storyline and genre are unlike what we have seen in Telugu films so far. The legendary Maestro Ilayaraja, who is currently working on Shriya Saran-starrer 'Gamanam', is the music director. Sarvesh Murari is the director of photography.
Diamond Ratnababu and Thotapalli Sainath have penned dialogues. With lyrics by Suddala Ashoka Teja, its editing is by Gautham Raju. Viranica Manchu is styling the protagonist's look.
