Director Caarthick Raju of 'Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene' fame is bracing for the release of an emotional thriller titled 'The Chase'. A film high on emotions, this one stars Raiza Wilson as the lead.
Made as a lockdown special, the entertainer has photography by Velraj, while the happening Kollywood stunt director Dhilip Subbarayan too worked on the film. Music is by Sam CS. Talking about the movie, the makers said, "We wanted to be productive in this lockdown times. So, we decided to do something creative."
Produced by Apple Tree Studios' Raj Shekar Varma, the film has wrapped up its production works and is currently in the post-production phase.
With a hill station and a thick forest as backdrops, the film is touted to be a visual treat. "RR work is on and the output is coming out really well," the makers added.
Giving a snapshot of the story, the makers revealed, “'The Chase' revolves around a mother, her daughter and a teenager. You can expect twists and turns."
Well-known TV personality Anasuya Bharadwaj, Harish Uthaman, and comedians Satyam Rajesh and Madhunandan are part of the cast. Monica, who played Karthi’s daughter in the 2019 hit 'Khaidi', has played a part.
