It's known that young actor Tanish is currently doing a film titled 'Mahaprasthanam'. Directed by Jhony, the entertainer has Musskan Sethi and Bhanusri Mehra playing other key roles.
The news is that 'Solo Bratuke So Better' actor Sai Dharam Tej on Monday unveiled the film's interesting teaser marking Tanish's birthday. Saying that he loved the teaser, the Supreme Hero said, "I have learned that 'Mahaprasthanam' has been shot in a single-shot pattern, which means that the reel and real-time will be the same. This is a first in the history of Telugu cinema." The 'Prati Roju Pandage' actor wished the team all the best and said that the film needs to be encouraged.
Elaborating further on the single-shot pattern, the director said, "This story happens in two hours so is the run-time of the film. In other words, the proceedings run from the camera's point of view, not from the director's or the male protagonist's or some other character's point of view."
He added that the film was canned in a single strike without break. Both fast and slow-motion shots are part of the narration. "Twenty days of call sheets were used up just for rehearsals. We used to rehearse in the day time and shoot at night. MN Balreddy's cinematography is superb. I thank Tanish for his unconditional co-operation, especially for practicing the action episodes one month before the start of shooting," the director added.
Thanking Sai Dharam Tej for releasing the teaser, Tanish added, "I am very proud to be a part of this movie. It’s very tough to do this kind of film because each artist should act perfectly once the scene starts filming otherwise we should go for one more shot." He revealed that the film is based on a burning issue of our society.
Currently, RR and CG works are going on.
What about the mode of release? "If there is no chance to open the theaters in nearby future, we will release the film in OTT," the makers said.
Starring Rishika Khanna, Archana Singh, Tarzan, Gagan Vihari, Amit, Ravi Kaale and others are part of the cast. Music is by Sunil Kashyap.
