'Yevade Subrahmanyam' and 'Mahanati' director Nag Ashwin has completed a short-film for Netflix. Shruti Haasan is its protagonist.
The short-film, whose genre and premise have been kept under the wraps, was shot at a studio in Hyderabad. Its shoot started earlier this week and was concluded in just five days. Nag Ashwin, taking to Instagram, said that they had pulled off the "impossible" in just five days.
"It was great working with the cool, multi-talented, gorgeous, and goofy Shruti Haasan. Loved working with the most amazing people. Thanks for believing," the director said.
Nag Ashwin is scheduled to shoot Prabhas-Deepika Padukone's sci-fi in 2021. The film will arrive at the cinemas in 2022.
