The 2019 Malayalam film 'Maarconi Mathaai' is now all set to come out in Telugu as 'Radio Madhav'. Starring 'Uppena' actor Vijay Sethupathi and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' actor Jayaram in main roles, the film will release on April 23.
Produced by DV Krishnaswamy, the film is written and directed by Sanil Kalathil. The Telugu version has dialogues and lyrics by Bashya Sri.
The film is about what happens when a middle-aged man (Jayaram) falls in love with a woman. It's up to Vijay's character to be the cupid.
"The visuals are rich. The songs have come out really well. Well-known singers have sung them. Bashya Sri has penned them amazingly. You won't see 'Radio Madhav' as a dubbing movie. The audience will get the feeling of watching a straight movie," the makers today said.
Jayaram, who has previously acted in 'Bhaagamathi', said that 'Radio Madhav' is beautiful. Executive Producer S Srinivasa Murthy described it as a feel-good outing. Presenter Gundepudi Seenu said that the film says love has no age.
Write rBashya Sri said that the film reminded him of Venkatesh's movies. Also featuring Athmiya Rajan, Purna, Naren, Aju Varghese and others, the film has cinematography by Sajan Kalathil. Music is by M Jayachandran.
