A day before Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab release, the Andhra Pradesh government has given a rude shock to film's producers and distributors by issuing a G.O denying permission for special shows and restricting ticket prices.
The act of the AP government has kicked off a huge political controversy with Janasena and BJP parties, launching a verbal war with the ruling party.
However, the exhibitors approached the court and urged, allowing the hike in ticket fares as they were facing huge losses as they have brought the film for a massive amount. Hearing the petition of exhibitors, the HC allowed them to hike the prices till Monday and the final will be taken on the first weekday.
Meanwhile, the AP government has decided to challenge HC's stay on its GO, which restricts hike on ticket prices. Besides this, some of the ruling party leaders have also started spreading hate against the film on social media.
