'Jetty', starring Nandita Swetha and Manyam Krishna in lead roles, will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Written and directed by Subrahmanyam Picchuka, the film is produced by Venu Madhav.
The news is that a song titled 'Gangamma Gangamma' from the movie was released today on the hands of lyricist Chandrabose. Here are its lyrics:
"గంగమ్మ గంగమ్మ మాయమ్మ...మమ్ము సల్లంగ సూడాలమ్మా.. సుడి గుండాలు, గండాలు రాకుండా సెయ్యమ్మా...ఆటుపోటుల్లోనే ఆటుపోటుల్లోనే ఆట పాటలంట హైలెస్స...అలల కౌగిట్లోనే అలల కౌగిట్లోనే అలుపు తీరెనంట హైలెస్స...ఉప్పొంగి పోయేటి ఉప్పెనలో మేము ఊయలూగేమంట హైలెస్సో, ఉబికి వచ్చె మా సెమటనీటి తోటి ఉప్పు నీరు ఇంకా ఇంకా ఉప్పయిందట...గంగమ్మ గంగమ్మ మాయమ్మ...మమ్ము సల్లంగ సూడాలమ్మా".
Rendered by Anurag Kulkarni, the song is composed by Karthik Kodakandla.
Lyricist Chandrabose said that he has written a song on the forest for Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' only recently. "And, for 'Jetty', I have written a song on the sea. He added that writing a song on the lives of fishermen was a new experience.
Veera Mani has cranked the camera. Stunts are by Devaraj Nune. Editing is by Srinivas Thota. Art Direction is by Upendra Reddy. Choreography is by Anish. Dialogues are by Sashidhar. Krishna, Kannada Kishore, Mime Gopi, MS Chowdhary, Shivaji Raja, Jeeva and Suman Shetty are part of the cast.
