Tannishtha Chatterjee, who has done movies in Hindi and English, will be playing a key role in 'Cyanide'. The multi-lingual crime thriller sees the National Award for Best Actress (Special Jury) winner in an interesting role.
Director Rajesh Touchriver is making the film on a prestigious scale. He is happy to have collaborated with Tannishtha, who was once associated with the National School of Drama. A respected acting talent in the international circuit, she has done movies such as 'Lion', which received 6 Oscar nominations and a BAFTA award.
Known for films like 'Beyond The Clouds', in Hindi, she has done 'Angry Indian Goddesses' and 'Parched', among others. The actress was also seen in the German film 'Shadows Of The Time', for which she won three major awards at the Toronto International Film Festival and the Berlin Film Festival. The Canadian film 'Siddharth', 'Un Indian', 'Roam Rome Mein' and 'Unpaused' are among her other movies.
Coming to 'Cyanide', it stars Priyamani and Yashpal Sharma in the lead. To be released in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada, the film is produced by Pradeep Narayanan and Niranjan Reddy of Middle East Primeshow Entertainment JV. It has been shot in Kerala and Karnataka.
