Raj Tarun, after 'Orey Bujjiga', will be seen in 'Power Play', a thriller. Directed by Konda Vijay Kumar, it will release in theatres on March 5. Its trailer was today unveiled by senior Tollywood personality BA Raju.
Speaking on the occasion, Raj Tarun said that the film is a distinct thriller. He was all praise for director Vijay Kumar Konda, writer Nandyala Ravi and Madhunandan on the occasion. The 'Uyyala Jampala' actor described Hemal as an amazing co-star. "Poorna garu ('Avunu' fame) will be seen in a powerful role. Suresh Bobbili's RR will be terrific," the actor added.
The director said that the movie was inspired by a concept narrated by Ananth Sai. Besides being a thriller, 'Power Play' is also a commerical film, he added. "I am glad that I got an opportunity to work with Kota Srinivasa Rao garu with this film," the director said, adding that Ajay, Satyam Rajesh, Madhunandan and others are part of the cast.
Producer Devesh said that working with the team of the film was like living with a family. Executive Producer Palaparthi Ananth Sai thanked the director for executing the film superbly.
Writer Nandyala Ravi has penned its story and dialogues, adding that Vijay Kumar Konda has made the film with a unique touch.
Poorna said that the director is a cool person. "I have played a very different role in this film. This is a very special role in my career," she added.
Dhanraj, Kedari Shankar, Tillu Venu, Bhupal and others are part of the cast. Cinematography is by I Andrew. Music is by Suresh Bobbili.
