The trailer of 'Sundari', starring Poorna in the lead, was out today. Speaking at the trailer launch event of the film, director Kalyan G Gogana said that he likes mass hero films a lot.
"During the lockdown, I wanted to try a new concept-oriented movie. That's when I decided to do a female-oriented film. Producer Rizwan asked us to take the film on the floors immediately. Suresh Bobbili has given extraordinary tunes. Rakendu Mouli has given a superb performance. The Tamil version is currently in the dubbing stage in Chennai," the director added.
Producer Rizwan said, "The shooting was completed very fast. Poorna is amazing as Sundari. She surprised us by completing a number of scenes in a single take."
Actor Arjun Ambati said, "Poorna's performance will be shockingly good. You are going to see her acting vishwaroopam in 'Sundari'."
Poorna said, "Female-centric movies are usually done with star actresses. I have done 'Sundari' because the story is beautiful. This is a full-fledged character that I have played. She is a village woman who is very innocent. A number of women will be able to relate to the story. The climax will thrill the audience."
