Aha, in its one year of existence, has seen 8.5 million installs, 52 million streaming hours and 25.5 million unique visitors. The Telugu-only OTT has also got 1.25 billion streaming minutes going for it. An event was held on Monday to celebrate the success of the app.
Ramu Jupally, one of the founders, said, "It feels great that a regional app has got this kind of reach. We have planned to get more aggressive in the coming days. We are planning to launch OTTs in other languages, too. Allu Aravind garu has been our guiding force. Vamsi Paidipally, CEO Ajith Thakur and others have been of great support."
CEO Ajith Thakur said, "The fact we have got 25.5 million subscribers says it all. Aha 100% Entertainment Awards will be held today to celebrate this. We have brought out originals, films, shows and others in the last one year. The awards will be announced in March."
Allu Aravind said, "We have reached this stage because we have worked day and night non-stop. We thank Rameshwar Rao garu on this occasion. We have been making efforts to reach the audience and entertain them during covid. Besides discerning movies, we have brought mass films such as 'Krack', too. Aha is going to come up with big shows. Big heroes and heroines are going to be associated with us."
Vamsi Paidipally said, "It's only because of the constant support given by our patrons that we are here. This is just the beginning."
Suhas, Navadeep, Priyadarshi and others also participate in the event.
