'Maara', which is now premiering on Amazon Prime in 240 countries in Tamil, stars Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles. The news is that a song titled 'Oh Azhage', penned by Thamarai and composed by Ghibran, is rendered by Benny Dayal.
This is the second hit song from 'Maara', the first one being 'Oru Arai Unathu'. Shot on Madhavan, who is seen riding a bike to the hills, this one metaphorically and literally captures his journey. Talking about the song, music director Ghibran said, “We intended to create a melody that would enhance the scenic journey that Maara takes. The film is a musical drama, whose very concept intrigued me. I am happy to have composed music for a film that is a perfect blend of drama, love, hope and art."
Director Dhilip Kumar said that the song is one of his favorite tracks from the film. "Benny Dayal’s voice is the cherry on top and I absolutely love that the song beautifully blends with the picturesque and artistic cinematography," he added.
