Ram Pothineni's 'Red', which released in theatres on Thursday, registered superb openings at the box-office on Day 1. The numbers in the Telugu States have been revealed. Its share is upwards of Rs 6.70 Cr in AP and Telangana.
Nizam's Rs 2.19 Cr and Ceeded's Rs 1.17 Cr are the highest numbers. Nellore (Rs 36 lakhs), Guntur (Rs 46.5 lakhs), Krishna (Rs 35.3 lakhs), West Godavari (Rs 95.7 lakhs), East Godavari (Rs 63.85 lakhs), and Uttharandhra (Rs 53 lakhs) are also encouraging. (Note: The figures for some of the areas include Hires).
The film has released in as many as 690 theatres in the Telugu States. The makers say that advance bookings for Day 2 are encouraging.
