Mahesh Kathi, who met with a terrible road accident in the last week of June, is no more. He breathed his last Saturday afternoon.
As per reports, the film critic-actor's health condition was stable for a few days after he started receiving treatment. His brain had no fatal damage and he was declared to be out of danger. However, water crept into his lungs and endangered his life. Kathi was being treated at a private hospital in Chennai. He was initially treated at a Nellore hospital.
Condoling his demise, actor Manchu Manoj wrote, "Shocked & saddened to hear the news about the demise of #KathiMahesh garu. My deep condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace!"
The Andhra Pradesh government recently announced Rs 17 lakh towards the treatment.
