The Cinegoers' Awards have feted a number of talented artists and technicians since 1970. Efforts are now on to award the best talents who have worked on movies released in 2019-20. A logo of the Cinegoers' 52nd Golden Jubilee Awards was released at an event in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Cinegoers' General Secretary B Ramakrishna said, "It was my father who had set up the prestigious award. We are planning to host the 52nd edition in a grand manner. On this occasion, we thank Megastar Chiranjeevi garu for his constant support."
GHMC Deputy Mayor M Srilatha said, "I congratulate Ramakrishna garu on this occasion. It's a great thing to felicitate talented technicians, who make our movie-watching experience special."
Joint Secretary Rajesh Ponnada said, "The 52nd edition will be held in September. Renova Hospitals will be sponsoring the event."
Dr. KV Ramana, who is an advisor to the Telangana government, said, "I have been associated with the awards for 40 years. I congratulate the team of the Cinegoers' awards on this occasion."
