'Ramarao On Duty', starring Ravi Teja in the lead, is directed by debutant Sarath Mandava. The news is that yesteryear hero Venu Thottempudi, who is known for comedies such as 'Swayamvaram', has been roped in for a key role.
"We are glad that Venu garu is back to films after a long gap with our movie. Known for his hilarious timing and energy, he will be seen in a never-seen-before character in the movie," Mandava said.
He is the latest one to join the cast, after actresses Rajisha Vijayan and Divyasha Kaushik of 'Majili' fame were recently enlisted.
Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri’s SLV Cinemas LLP and Ravi Teja's RT Teamworks, the film has music by Sam CS. Sathyan Sooryan ISC is its cinematographer. Nasser, Sr Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh, Rahul Ramakrishna, Eerojullo Sree and others have different roles.
