Director Neelakanta is to make a biopic based on Indian philanthropist Vedire Ramachandra Reddy's life. Vedire Ramachandra Reddy is popularly known as the most-loved follower of Gandhi Ji.
The movie is to portray the pre-Independence era when the 'Bhoodan' movement was going on in India. At the call from Acharya Vinobha Bhave, Vedire Ramachandra Reddy became the first landlord to donate land to the poor as part of the Bhoodan movement in India in the year 1951.
This upcoming biopic is to get on the floors soon. Presented by Aravind Reddy, the movie is to be produced by Kancherla Chandrasekhar Reddy. More details to follow.
