'Ardha Shathabdham' is the latest direct-to-streamer release that Aha is bringing. To be released on June 11, its trailer was out today.
Directed by Rawindra Pulle, the film's trailer was released by Natural Star Nani. 'Care Of Kancharapalem' fame Karthik Rathnam is the male lead. While Naveen Chandra has a mercurial role, Sai Kumar will be seen as an idealist. Krishna Priya is the female lead, while senior actor Subhalekha Sudhakar is also seen.
The makers are banking on the film's raw appeal. Besides a love story, it boasts intense action and a layered narrative style. "If the romance is rustic, the grassroots politics of the film will be a highlight. There are references to caste prejudice in the interiors of Telangana," the makers said.
The teaser of the film was fittingly released on Ambedkar Jayanti.
Pavitra Lokesh, Ajay, Raja Ravindra, Rama Raju, Dil Ramesh, TNR, Sharanya, Naveena Reddy, and others are part of the cast. Produced by Chitti Kiran Ramoju and Thelu Radhakrishna under Rishitha Sree Creations LLP and 24 Frames celluloid banners, its cinematography is by Venkata R Sekamuri. Music is by Nofel Raja.
