By now everyone knows that Akkineni scion Akhil has teamed up with director Surender Reddy for an espionage-thriller, titled Agent.
The film was supposed to start rolling in May but it has been delayed due to the second wave of Covid-19. As per reports, the makers are planning to begin the regular shoot on July 12 in Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, an interesting buzz is that Malayalam superstar Mammootty has been approached to play the main antagonist in the film. It is heard that the ace actor has given a nod to the offer. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited. Reports suggested that makers initially tried to star Mohanlal or Upendra in the film, but they didn't a positive response from them.
