Allu Arjun's 'Sarrainodu' and Allu Sirish's 'ABCD' have become the most-watched movies on television last week. The Hindi dubbed versions of these Telugu movies generated the highest TRPs, official BARC data says. The movies were released in 2016 and 2019, respectively, in Telugu.
Going into details, the Boyapati-Bunny movie logged an average minute audience (AMA) of 4863. On the other hand, 'ABCD', which had Sirish in the role of an NRI, got 4016.
For perspective, the TRPs of 'Baahubali-2', which was aired on TV the same week, was at 3609.
Sirish has expressed his happiness over the development. He said that he didn’t expect this level of viewership. The Mega hero believes that the fun and entertainment quotient of the film must have made all the difference.
Goldmines Telefilms, which holds the Hindi satellite rights of 'ABCD' said that entertainment content does well on television and therefore 'ABCD' getting the vast TRPs is not a surprise.
