'Battala Ramaswamy Biopikku', a village-based comedy, is up for an OTT release. The film will stream on ZEE5 from May 14.
Starring Altaf Hassan in the titular role, this one is helmed by Ram Narayan. Also featuring Shanthi Rao, Satvika Jay, and Lavanya Reddy, the new-age comedy entertainer has music by RP Patnaik.
Produced jointly by Seven Hills Productions's I Satish Kumar and Mango Media's Ramakrishna Veerapaneni, the film has got an interesting premise. "The titular character wants to practise monogamy and wants to be like Lord Rama. He falls in love with Jayaprada, who is a vendor, and marries her. But later, due to some unforeseen circumstances, he ties the knot with two other women," the makers say.
The film will be followed by the streaming of 'Room No 54' from May 21 on ZEE5.
