We travelled together for many years and I worked with him very closely. A thorough professional and a gentleman at heart who was immensely passionate about cinema. Our family meant the world to him. A monumental loss for our family and the media fraternity," the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor wrote. It may be noted that Mahesh knew Raju through his father, Superstar Krishna.
Jr NTR, SS Rajamouli and others, too, took to Twitter and recalled their association with Raju.
Megastar Chiranjeevi spoke of how Raju had ready information available about films and their box-office performance. Chiru knew him even before he moved to Hyderabad.
