Shruti Haasan's career has been on an upswing this year. After romancing Megastar Chiranjeevi in 'Waltair Veerayya' and Nandamuri Balakrishna in 'Veera Simha Reddy', the actress' career started looking up.
Before the release of the above Sankranthi movies, she bagged a role opposite Prabhas in 'Salaar'. The importance of her character in the movie will be known only on December 22, but it is safe to assume that she will have a bigger part in 'Salaar 2' if the first edition has only meager screen time for her.
Shruti was recently seen in a cameo in 'Hi Nanna'. The role is neither disappointing nor consequential.
Latest, the 'Race Gurram' actress has bagged a film opposite Adivi Sesh. This one will be a Telugu-Hindi bilingual to be directed by cinematographer-turned-director Shaneil Deo. Sesh knows Deo as the DoP of 'Kshanam' and 'Goodachari'. This film becoming a hit might boost her career in Hindi as well. Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and presented by Annapurna Studios, the film is co-produced by Suniel Narang.
