After making the first Telugu zombie movie in the shape of 'Zombie Reddy', Prasanth Varma has resolved to direct the first Tollywood super-hero outing. Marking his birthday today, the 'Kalki' and 'AWE' director said that a new cinematic universe of super-heroes is set to be unveiled in Tollywood. It could mean that 'Hanu-Man' is merely the first of his superhero movies. Making the announcement, a Motion Poster was released.
"The title logo looks authoritative with a sun and a diamond placed in between HANU and MAN. The film is said to have been inspired by Indian mythology," a source says.
Talking about his vision for the genre, Varma today said that superheroes have their past history in the semi-divine heroes of myth and legend. He added that they exhibit feats of incredible strength and fighting prowess. While Hollywood has witnessed the likes of DC, Marvel, and Avengers End Game, it has to be seen how 'Hanu-Man' is going to be like.
The film's cast and crew details will be divulged soon.
